On Thursday, the Great Port Washington Campout was canceled. It was also cancelled on Friday Night Flicks and the teen pool party. The 34-foot Navigation Response Team New London was in town while using modern sonar technology to map the bottom of Lake Michigan. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is also creating detailed maps of the Wisconsin Shipwreck Coast National Marine Sanctuary. Those maps will be available on the port town’s website in the coming months.
